Every country wants to cater to the tourist. Be it to provide helpful directions, give a gentle nudge to the proper behaviour or to downright warn them against any nuisance behaviour that is commonly caused by the unknowing visitor. Sometimes there can be interesting results especially when a language barrier interferes with providing information. Here is a collection of some of the stranger signs directed at tourists that I have encountered on my travels.

Temple Accomodation. Koya-san, Japan
Otaru Snow Light Festival. Hokkaido, Japan
Mt Misen Ropeway Approach. Miyajima, Japan
Beitou Hot Springs, Taiwan

And here is a bonus one from the U.K. which I find quite amusing. A tough decision.

Lydford Gorge, Devon
